Hello, and a happy new year to you reading this blog.
As it is stated "No System is 100% Secure", even with the advancements in technology, no one can say their system is secure 100 %.
The issue of security ranging from personal, device, computer, network, and many other aspects is becoming increasingly very importing despite the advancement in technology and other innovations.
For example, even if you have the most complex password on your laptop, what will happen if you forgot and left your laptop open to attend an emergency call? Definitely, with a malicious actor around, they can easily have access to your pc and can possibly perform some malicious actions.
Zero Trust Security if you haven't heard or read means that you trust no one or a system, internally or externally. It makes sure everyone gaining access to a system or resource is verified and authenticated every time.
With regards to the above example, how can the Zero Trust method work for devices like phones or laptops if someone were to get hold of the device?
I think there should be a hardening mechanism built into these devices like biometric systems that whenever the user goes out of the device view, it should automatically lock. This way, even if the user forgot to lock their device, it's still safe, and combining it with something you know (password) can be a great way to protect our devices.
What's your take?? comment in the below .... I would love to hear from you!
